Can I still change my booking after placing it?
Yes. The transport volume (e.g. number of boxes or furniture) can be adjusted at any time. Date or time changes are possible up to 7 days before the move. Later changes may incur additional costs.
What happens with short-notice schedule changes?
Between 7 days and 72 hours before the move we charge a rebooking fee of €100. Less than 72 hours before the appointment, 50% of the total amount is due. Changes made more than 7 days in advance are free of charge.

The number of movers is determined by the assigned moving company.

Can I contact the moving company directly?
You will receive the contact details of the moving company one day before the move.
Leistungen & Preise
What is included in the price?
Moving vehicle including fuel, professional moving team, protective materials and straps, transport and liability insurance, transport of the items specified at booking, and personal consultation by the On Umzug team.
What is not included in the price?
Electrical work (e.g. lamp installation, internet connection), parking space reservation, and kitchen assembly and disassembly are not included.
Which additional services can be booked for an extra charge?
Disassembly and assembly of furniture, kitchen assembly and disassembly, packing and unpacking service for moving boxes, disposal of furniture or waste, furniture lift, and wall mounting of televisions.
Who is my contact for questions or problems during the move?
The On Umzug team is available at all times for questions or problems during your move.
What happens if the partner company is late or does not show up?
Please contact the emergency number communicated in advance immediately.
What should I do if I have more items transported than originally stated?
Additional effort will be charged accordingly afterwards.
How can I report damage?
Despite the greatest care, damage can occur during a move. Important: damage must be reported within 3 working days. Please fill out the damage form and send it back to On Umzug together with photos and invoices if applicable.

How do I pay for the On Umzug service?
We offer you secure and flexible payment options: credit card, advance payment (bank transfer in advance), invoice – payment within 24 hours of receipt, and cash payment.
When will I receive the invoice from On Umzug?
The invoice will be sent to you by email after the move is completed.
Do I have to tip the movers?
A tip is not mandatory. You only pay the fixed price agreed in advance with On Umzug.

How can I cancel a booking with On Umzug?
Cancellations must be made in writing via our contact form. Cancellation fees depend on the time of cancellation: Up to 72 hours after booking and more than 14 days before the moving date: 20%. Between 14 and 7 days before the moving date: 50%. Between 6 days and 72 hours before the moving date: 80%. Less than 72 hours before the moving date: 100%.
